"Spring Breeze Inside the Celtic Ruins" is a seasonal-themed short-term project based on Jordan Albro's beautiful concept: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/4Xlaqq
I'm delighted to have the opportunity to work on this concept. At the very first glance, the dark magentaish coloured leaves from the fantasy tree immediately reminded me of my hometown's city flower: Bougainvillea, sometimes also called "paper flower".
With such vivid color inside an idea of the Celtic ruins would undoubtedly be able to create a unique spring day scene, which was also the reason why I would like to recreate this concept into a 3D environment. I also tried my best to bring some personal interpretations into this environment piece.
Also, shout out to my friend Nixon (https://www.artstation.com/nixonpoon) for helping me tackle some technical issues. It was super fun to dive into Speed Tree and some Niagara FX by myself this time.
Last but not least, I hope you may enjoy this Spring view in this late Spring time.

Flooded Library, Midsummer Day is another fast-pacing 6-week-long project finished under the guidance of Jon Arellano (https://www.artstation.com/jonarellano) The main goal of this project is to achieve a sense of springtime inside an interior space by filling the environment with foliage and waterbody. Yet, the water lily flowers are meant to be the flower of summer since they only bloom during the summer days, hence the subject was changed from "springtime" to "summer day". Therefore, the title: Midsummer Day. Original Concept by Tarmo Juhola: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/D5KgZ0

Bronson's Whiskey Distillery is a fun 6-week-long project base on Samuel Brito's retro-style concept:
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/14vGw3
and finished under the support of one of my favorite instructors Jon Arellano (https://www.artstation.com/jonarellano) I personally always have a soft spot for vintage and Noir style relevant art. I'm glad to say that I've finally created one myself! I really enjoy the progress on designing the shots and the lighting. I also put some personal interpretation and set up the cellar's location in Chicago during the Prohibition era. It was super fun to design the details of the props. Last but not least, great thanks to Nixon Poon (https://www.artstation.com/nixonpoon) for giving me valuable feed and suggestions. And I hope you enjoy the work!

A recreation based on Gabriel Björk Stiernström's elegant concept "Cartographer":

In this piece, I concentrated on setting up the golden hour lighting in order to build the overall atmosphere.
The industrial structure of this room is challenging but also fun to build, which I personally believe it's also the most fascinating part of this concept. Besides that, I also brought some personal interpretation and added more elements to this elegant victorian room.
And shout out to my demo reel instructor:

helped me bring up this concept to another level!
And highly appreciate my friend:

for creating the cool fx for this environment.

Project Aria Hotel is an original TRPG-inspired project cinematic. (the project name has no relationship with the actual Aira Hotel in real life)
It was my first UE5 project (originally built in UE4 then brought into UE5) started in
Jon Arellano (https://www.artstation.com/jonarellano)
's Environment Creation class, which was also my second Unreal Project.
(Textures were done in Forrest Stephen's Texture and Shading for Games Forrest Stephan. Also great thanks to both Forrest and David https://www.artstation.com/davidsolson
for giving me insights and enlightenment on real-time lighting!)
It was my first attempt at creating a such large-scale interior environment based on my original idea.
The main goal was to use lighting to convey and create a unique hotel design "you've never seen".
At the concept stage, I spent a lot of time to decide the best design that can blend both art deco vintage style and modern feelings into the interior design itself. Purple, black, and gold were chosen to be the main color palette for this environment. And I always adore seeing those renovated interiors that were modified from old banks. Therefore, I decided there should be a bank safety vault behind the reception.
Fun fact, before this piece was created, I was halfway through writing the script for the original TRPG. And shortly afterward, the movie Army of the Dead was released. Some ideas from my script overlapped with the movie coincidently, but the movie also gave me a lot of inspiration for creating this piece!

BM-00 is an original character design piece I did for The Rookies' Robot Challenge.
The idea is based on creating "the last man-made" intellectual being in the Galaxy... Hence, here's the "Rabot" Astronaut code name "00".

Some oldies.
It was a very humble beginning and the very first hard surface prop modelling that I've ever done.
Looking back on this project there are a lot of flaws and imperfections. But I was very happy to "finish" it, as it was created to memorial my long gone furry partner.
